Design: You will receive expert consultation and assistance wherever your process is at. See our list of what we can work with. At the end of this process a 3D Solid Model consisting of the complete mold with 3D simulation of the part will be created.
Reverse Engineering: The most effective process to inject will be determined and a mold will be formed to provide the part desired in order to achieve the highest precision.
Toolpath Designing: The 3D model of the mold and all of it's components will then be taken and toolpath will be written on our top-of-the-line software.
Expert Milling: We are experts in the use of both manual and CNC machining and will use a wide array of tools to achieve the best formations. Inspection will be present in all steps of the following processes.
Heat Treating: Depending on the job at hand and the type of steel being used, The steel will be raised and dropped to certain temperatures in order to achieve the desired Rockwell.
CNC Sinker EDM: Capabilities with robotic electrode changing and probing are used to achieve even more intense precision after the milling process. Burnt into the inserts, an even finer detail is created.
CNC Wire EDM: Used for machining mold components, pin and lift core holes to extreme accuracy. Exact hole diameters are possible through soft and hardened steels.
Surface Grinding: Capabilities range from small inserts to very large mold plate processing.
Welding & Micro-Welding: Processes used for repairs and revisions.
The Mold is Assembled: As the mold is put together occasionally measurements need to be adjusted to ensure exact fits so the mold will work to the best of it's ability.
Inspection: Our large array of inspection equipment and optical measuring instruments including Zeiss Prismo CMM to verify the accuracy of our final mold building process and consequent adjustments will be made.
